Aggressive appearance: The Dodge Viper SRT-10 is a poisonous projectile with cult status – not only in the US. Whoever bombs around with an SRT (stands for Street Racing Technologies) should make a gun licence beforehand.
The design follows the name. The nearly endless bonnet declines considerably less than with its predecessors, and the chunky bows with cleft flanks now give way for a more harmonic line. Yet in the ten combustors of the record-breaking 8.3l displacement an even more explosive composition of 506BHP and 711 Nm torque is being mixed. By this it is the most powerful model of the marque.
The original US-version of the Viper SRT10 has sidepipes, which has finally been permitted in Germany with models from 2006 and onwards.
Due to its cult status the Viper is often shown in video games such as Need-for-Speed.
