Die Roadie ist ein Klassiker von Jem, eine kräftige Touring-Nebelmaschine, die auf klassischen Tourneen wie den Rolling Stones oder Pink Floyd eingesetzt wurde. Die Roadie X-Stream ist die einzige Nebelmaschine, die in der Lage ist, auch große Stadien mit Nebel zu füllen. Die verfügt über einen großen Fluidvorrat von 2 x 9, 5 Liter(beim Verleih inklusive), einen leistungsstarken Lüfter und ein doppeltes Heizsystem mit 4 Ausgängen und 5000W Heizleistung.

So wie ihr Vorgänger deckt die Roadie X-Stream alle Einsatzbereiche von leichtem Dunst bis schwerem Nebel in hohen Volumina ab. Die bemerkenswerte Nebelmenge und die Wurfweite sind das Ergebnis von Jem's einmaligen Luftleitsystem.

Die Steuerung der Maschine erfolgt über die am Gerät angebrachte Steuerung oder die mitgelieferte Fernbedienung. Beide Steuerungen verfügen über Regler für die Nebelleistung, die Lüfterdrehzahl und Timerfunktionen. Die Maschine kann serienmäßig per DMX gesteuert werden.
