Surroundings; Trogir lies 29 km. north-west of Split and is known to be one of the most beautiful cities of Croatia. It has a rich history and is so special, that the entire old centre has been placed on the UNESCO world heritage list in 1997. The city was already founded by the Greek colonists in the 3rd century before Christ. At the time of the Romans it already was a important harbour city. Throughout the years it has been occupied by numerous different nations, which you see in all the different influences throughout the city. The most important locations in the city (and certainly worth visiting) are the historical centre with approx. 10 churches and various buildings from the 13th century, the town-gate from the 17th century, the town-wall from the 15th century and the St John cathedral from the 13th century. Apart from all the lovely things Trogir has to offer itself, you can also use the park as starting point for various excursions in the environment. Cities in the surroundings such as Split, or the lovely, overwhelming nature in one of the national parks, an excursion by boat, or a cross over to the lovely island Brac with the cosy Supetar or the world famous beach Bol. An excellent location to make your holiday into a successful journey, full of culture, nature and off course beach, sea and sunshine! The Park; Holiday park Medena consists of 260 apartments and is located at only 4 km. away from the centre of Trogir and at 150 m. from the beach. Yet it is not a massive complex. It is located in a shaded environment of conifers and a subtropical vegetation. A delightful destination qua nature but certainly also qua climate and…….the view!! The Accommodations; The different type’s of houses are located on the ground floor (2-3 pers. house HR-00000-30) or on the 1st floor (4-5 pers. house HR-00000-31). Both are furnished in a well kept, complete and comfortable way and have their own terrace or balcony with garden furniture.
