This superbly located farm is the highest habitation to the Peaks of the Brecon Beacons. There are footpaths and the old Roman Road which lead directly from the farm straight up onto the hills. Dating from the 17th century there is a wealth of oak beams, stone work and as many original features as possible having been retained. The barn has been restored with great care and attention into a warm, welcoming and beautiful place for a group of friends to stay for a ‘walking weekend‘ a family re-union or a holiday. The farm also has a simple stone barn bunk house with very few facilities and a field for camping. Cwmcynwyn is 4 miles from Brecon and a few minutes from Crofftau so might perhaps suit a larger group all wishing to be in the same area.
