In order to that you will find in the nearby situated Stahleccken, a full fledged golf course with 18 holes and you reach the well known health resort Bad Mariënberg in only 15 minutes. Several interesting old city centres such as Hachenburg, Herborn and Limburg an der Lahn are certainly worth visiting and they are all reachable within half an hour. An absolute recommendation is a visit to the 60 km. further situated Marburg which as an old student town it flaws with history and atmosphere. In case you rather enjoy the peace, you can do so on your own terrace with garden furniture of on one of the numerous walking courses which cut through the Westerwald.
