The, between 340 and 480 metres above sea level situated Floh-Seligenthal has been officially acknowledged as an health resort since 2000 and lies in the southern part of the Thüringer Forest, directly at the famous Rennsteig. The village is also surrounded by a well kept network of hiking roads which take you to an height of a maximum of 800 metres and offer various nice views. A favorite hiking destination is the mountain lake Ebertwiese in where it is lovely to be in the summer time. House Dagmar is situated at the edge of Seligenthal and directly at the fringe of the woods which accommodates a wonderful, spacious (100 m²) property on the first floor with heated marble floors and two bedrooms. The house also has a 400 m² large parcel on the other side of the street in where you can nicely barbeque while sitting on the available garden furniture or enjoy the sunshine. You can also explore a lot due to the central location of Selingthal. Such as a riding school which lies at 500 metres distance, the mountain swimming pool Struth-Helmershof (12 km.) is easy to reach and towns such as Bad Liebenstein (caves and castle, 15 km.), Bad Salzungen (cinema and museum, 25 km.), Brotterode (Inselsberg with summer toboggan run, 20 km.) and Eisenach (important cultural centre, 35 km.) are worth visiting. To be short, a comfortable accommodation in a surprising and various environment.
