This lovely detached old bakery, which has been tastefully converted several years ago into an holiday destination which provides you with a lot of privacy, lies in the small, to Eslohe belonging, hamlet Henninghausen. The of a good standard, three floors counting, house (approx. 80 m²) will be occupied entirely by yourself and is only accompanied in the wide area by nine small scale farm houses. Here you can deliciously relax and enjoy the nature what the adjoining nature park Homert has to offer. A selection of walking tracks of different lengths and difficulty take you, whether or not escorted by the ranger, along a fascinating landscape of woody hills, rippling little brooks and authentic half timbered houses. Around the house you have access to a garden, two terraces with garden furniture and a barbeque. If you look for variation, you find a.o. a swimming paradise with slide, sauna and whirlpool, mini golf and horseback riding options in Eslohe (7 km.). For the warm summer day, a visit to one of the characteristic impounding lake (Hennesee, Sorpesee and Möhnesee) are highly recommended. These water sports centres are reachable within half an hour and have a selection of facilities such as boat rental and sailing possibilities. House Backes is highly recommended for the nature lover, but offers an extensive pack of facilities in an area of 25 km.
