Madfeld is located in a hilly and woody region in the Sauerland at only 12 km from the Diemelsee. You will find many leisure facilities here both for adults and children. There are many cycling- and walking paths, an indoor swimming pool (free), sauna, solarium, playgrounds, etc. In winter you can ski, langlauf and sleigh in the well known ski areas Willingen (approx. 6 km) and Winterberg (approx. 40 km).
