The beautifully landscaped holiday village Altes Land is located in Hollern-Twielenfleth, directly at the dyke on the river Elbe, between the cities Hamburg and Stade. You are in the Alte Land, a magnificent region famous for its many orchards, which was already turned into a polder in the 14th century. The eight million fruit trees and the location on the Elbe guarantee a nice stay in any season. The North Sea is ca. 40 km away.
The park is the ideal base to go exploring this beautiful region. You can visit the 'hansestadt' Stade with its thousand years history or lively Hamburg with its sea harbour. Or the island Helgoland, Hagenbeck zoo, the heath in Soltau or the safari park Lüneburger Heide.
In the park there is lots of fun to be had for young and old. Excursions and parties are regularly organised. In the high season there are various animation programmes for kids and there is a darts and table football room. The park has no swimming pool, but at 0.5 km there is a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from early June to end of August). The swimming pool is located directly on the Elbe and you can use it for a fee. You are allowed to pick the ripe fruit in autumn for your own consumption!
You stay in a detached holiday home (ca. 60 m2) with a private terrace and grounds. The 2nd bedroom consists of either two single beds or bunk beds. There are fruit trees everywhere and in spring you are surrounded by a sea of flowers.
The interior of the accommodation can differ slightly from the pictures. However, the level of comfort is as described
