Famous Mosel cities and historical wine centres like Trier (oldest city in Germany), Bernkastel-Kues, Traben-Trarbach, Beilstein, Cochem and Koblenz are worth a visit and easily accessible from the holiday home. A visit to one of the many historical fortresses, castles and monasteries is also a must. Some of them are in the direct proximity like the fortress "Arras", the "Marienburg" and the "Cochemer Reichsburg" for example.
