The holiday region Volcanic Eifel has a lot to offer. Many romantic walking and cycling paths go through the Eifel and offer lots of must-see attractions on the way. A cycling route runs from Daun through many villages and ends in Wittlich on the Mosel. There are also the many different Maare (crater lakes), the Maarmuseum and the village of Manderscheid with its typical medieval character. The "Vulkanhaus-Strohn", where the origin of the "Maare" is described, is definitely worth a visit too.
