At the edge of the village Ölmscheid, you will find this spacious holiday house which has a wonderful view at the surrounding meadows and hills, on the first floor. The 165 inhabitants counting village is situated at only 20 km. from Luxembourg where you certainly must visit Vianden, the historical centre of Echternach or the Teufelsschlucht in Müllertal. On the German side there are especially the waterfalls in Irrel, the statue park in Niederprüm and the fortresses in Schönecken and Rittersdorf worth the trip. Besides that, Ölmscheid itself is in August a centre of activities. Several events such as old timer trips, motorbike trips and walks are surrounded by live music with which there is all sorts of things organized for the children. A small village but at the very least boring. The house has two balconies of which one overlooks the village and the other directly looks at the Irsen valley and the Falkenauer valley, while there is also a communal garden with terrace and a barbeque available for the really nice days. If the weather is not cooperative, you can also use the modern furnished sauna with accompanying rest space. In short, a comfortable accommodation on a gorgeous location.
