Dockweiler lies 9 km. south-east of Daun. In the centre of Dockweiler this house is situated (80 m²), which used to be a post office. The house adjoins the owners house, but has its own entrance and will only be occupied by yourself. The interior is domestic and well taken care of. You reach the 1st floor and the basement through a small spiral stairs which lies outside. Because of the hill position the garden with garden furniture and barbeque lies in the some what lower part at the back of the house, to be reach through the basement or outside. The garden runs through into the owners garden, but because of the size of it you can easily find a private spot. The near vicinity offers several interesting destinations for the hiker. For instance, the village contains of a Roman church, dated from 1200, which is accompanied by a few 200 year old lime- and chestnut trees, but you can also choose to walk along the so called “Blocklavafeld” in the south of the wood area between Dockweiler, Daun and Kelberg. To be short, an utter Eifel destination!
