In Wallenborn and surroundings you can enjoy a whole range of activities like golf, mountain biking, fly fishing and walking through the beautiful hills of the Eifel. It is also definitely worth it to visit "de Maare", crater lakes filled with water. In Daun (10 km) you will find the "Vulkan Bike Trailpark" and you can visit the volcano museum and the animal park. The Eifel is also very beautiful in winter, and you can langlauf here.

If you fancy a city trip, Trier, the oldest city in Germany (75 km) or Cologne (110 km) are definitely recommended.
