The holiday home "Buntspecht" is quietly located on the edge of the forest, just outside the village of Glees in the Eifel holiday region. The holiday home (approx. 78 m2) is located in the 1st floor of the residence. You will have a beautiful view on this splendid region from your terrace. The house also has a garden, where children will have lots of fun.
The holiday home is situated near the "Laacher See", the largest volcanic lake of the Eifel. "Maare" are lakes of volcanic origin which go back 10 000 years, when the Eifel volcanoes were last active. There are many beautiful walks to be made around the lake. The Maria-Laach monastery (2 km), in Romanesque style, is definitely worth a visit.
There are also many interesting attractions in the area. Or visit Koblenz (deutsches Eck),
the Rhine and the Mosel rivers, the Nürburgring (Formula 1), the Eltz fortress, the Ahrtal (wine area, wine tasting), etc.
