About 3 km. south-west from Meisburg lies the village section Rackenback with a set of three houses, among which the farm house where this house is attached to. The cattle farm house is still used and is surrounded by meadows. In consultation with the landlord your children can help a day to feed the cows and calves or transport them to the meadow. Which is of course an unique experience. But also they can live one’s life to the fullest at the table football game, the swing of the playing meadow. For yourself there is a barbeque, terrace with garden furniture and spacious winter garden with sitting area for 4-pers. at your disposal. The house is situated on the ground floor and has its own entrance. The holiday part is because of the communal garden closed of from the farm and furnished in a simple but well cared for way. You can make trips to Manderscheid(15 km.) with its marvellous fortress and familiar volcano lake, to Daun with its Hirsch- and Saupark or to the city Bitburg (20 km.) with its many shops and restaurants. But enjoying the rest is at issue here. Already at 200 metres from the house you reach the fringe of the wood from where you can take lovely hiking tours.
