In Wallenborn and the surrounding is a variety of activities possible, like golf, mountain biking, fly fishing and hiking through the beautiful hilly landscape of the Eifel. Then it is surely worth it to visit the "Maare", with water filled crater lakes. In Daun (10km) is the "Vulkan Bike Trailpark" you can visit the volcano museum and the wild park. In the winter, Eifel is very beautiful and here you even langlauf.
If you would like to visit the town, then a visit to Trier, the oldest town of Germany (75 km) or Köln (110 km) can be recommended.
