The village lies at an altitude of approx. 900 m. and is surrounded by three mountains, the Pröller, the Predigtstuhl and the Hirschenstein. Around the village lies a walking network of over 128 km. which takes you directly along the house Zur Linde. The house lies at the edge of the village and the forest, to the sunny south and has a beautiful panoramic view at the Donau valley and the further situated Bayern Forest.
