Falkenstein is recommended for families with children, due to the many possiblities in the area. The town Falkenstein is situated at the foot of the 900 year old stronghold. Here you have good shopping possibilities, a traditional gastronomy and interesting places of interest. Would you like to relax and enjoy the wonderful, healthy air to forget the daily stress? Bo problem! In the stronghold are many hiking and cycling roads. Would you like to do something adventurous, then visit the “Flugzentrum Bayerwald”. Here you can make balloon flights, dive and make tandem flights. Holiday park Falkenstein is a pedestrian zone park, but there are reserved parking places at the start of the park. Further, there is a reception with kiosk, BBQ-place and BBQ-hire.
