The ski area of the Tauplitzalm (a part of the skiarea Steirisches Salzkammergut)is just as pretty as the extended langlauf area in the valley. From the centre (2 min. walking distance) a free ski bus leaves for the slopes. There are enough ski schools for beginners. You will find excellent gastronomy and cosy après-ski here. And there is a skating rink in the village.



Bad Mitterndorf has healing sources and a spa resort since 1972. The beautiful region is perfect for interesting cycling trips and mountain walks, with pretty mountain lakes with sunbathing and sailing facilities. And you could also make an excursion to the festival city of Salzburg (85 km).
